  • How easy is it to remove. I am restoring a leaded stained glass window which will only be displayed indoors. My biggest concern is its reversablity. If any of my restoration, or glass needs to be replaced or repaired I want to be sure that the putty can be removed with out great difficulty as would be the case with traditional putty.

Yes, Sarco Putty is fairly easy to remove similar to traditional putty!

  • can the sarco stained glass putty be thinned down with linseed oil and mineral spirits to make a cementing mix, for cementing stained glass windows? it's a common practice with dap 1012 glazing. but the dap 1012 is to hard to get now. i think the sarco would be better anyway.
