It consists of natural hydraulic lime NHL 2 and trass powder acc. to DIN 51043 as natural Puzzolan. The stabilizing process of trass lime FL B 2 is effected through carbonation and hydraulic hardening. Otterbein trass lime FL B 2 is free from cement! Properties • historic, cement- and gypsum-free natural hydraulic binder • reduces the risk of efflorescences • high sulfate resistance • low-tension hardening process • very good subsequent hardening properties • high elasticity • high water retention capacity in the mortar • very good side adhesion at stone • low elasticity module Application For the production of plaster-, stoneworking- and natural stone mortar, in particular in the ecological-biological construction of houses and apartments, in the renovation and preservation of historic monuments, for the reduction of the risk of efflorescence of salts damaging the basic structure of a buildings.
