How does this insert into the 5 gal. bucket? Does one drill a hole and screw in? Is there a nut/washer on the onside of the bucket to secure it? Does it need silicone or a washer so as not leak?

You can use a blunt object to puncture the inner portion of the large cap and then the faucet will screw right in!
