Le Tonkinois Bio Impression Oil can be used as an impregnation oil in all types of wood prior to coating with Le Tonkinois Linseed Oil Varnish, and it can also be used on its own as a soft, matte varnish.
Bio Impression Oil is made from linseed oil, palm oil, and castor oil. It has good penetrating properties into wood, protecting it from the inside out from water, and stabilizing it by limiting expansion and contraction.
As an impregnation oil, Bio Impression Oil penetrates deeper into the wood fiber, providing a good surface for adhesion and extending the overall life of the varnish top coats.

Application:
Apply Bio Impression Oil to a clean and dry surface with a brush, roller, or sprayer, and without thinning the oil. Works best on an absorbent surface, where old coatings have been removed.
Apply 2-3 coats to an untreated surface depending on the condition of the wood, its absorbency, and its exposure.
Coverage:
The coverage of any penetrating finish depends on absorption.
Average coverage of Bio Impression Oil: 20 m2 (215 SQFT) per litre per coat.
Average coverage of:
0.75 L container: 15 m2 (160 SQFT) per litre per coat.
1.2 L container: 24 m2 (260 SQFT) per litre per coat.
More coats = more protection.
Drying time:
Approximately 24 hours at room temperature, with good ventilation and low humidity.
