Dammar resin or Damar resin is a collective term for various resins from trees belonging to the Dipterocarp plant family that grow  in Southeast Asia. Our product consists of selected bright and clean pieces. Dammar resin dissolved in turpentine produces a varnish that has been used for many centuries as a medium for oil paints to increase the gloss and to varnish oil paintings.
