“At Von Schneider, I’m always on the hunt for the best products to use in my shop and on the pieces I’ve built. In any of my undertakings, I look to the past to see what the masters used. Undoubtedly, that choice was wax. In our modern time, I found the wax world falling short on their promises. I was impressed with a few, but never blown away. With a list of wants & expectations, I went to a wax making family with generations of experience and asked them to formulate a wax that met my needs. They devised the formula that is now Von Schneider Micro-Crystalline Wax. It met all of my needs and exceeded my expectations. And... as a pleasant surprise, it met the needs of many other craftspeople as well. Jewelers, sculptors, art preservationists, classic car restorers, luthiers, and gunsmiths have told us that our wax is their new favorite. Hopefully the museum crowd catches on soon too and makes our wax the new industry standard.
