Tips & Tricks: Hardening can be prevented by keeping covered with water and tightly sealed. Keep out of reach from children, wash hands thoroughly after use. Keep container sealed and away from direct sunlight & store at room temp!
Directions: Roll between hands, creating a continuous bead in a diameter suitable for the joint. Remove excess immediately.

will a pint do a 30x10 inch monument base
Yes, you should be good with a pint.

1) is there any advantage in adding water to the compound (I've seen a video by your founder saying he does that). 2) should the monument surfaces be damp before applying the compound (as one would do for lime-based mortar).
Many times water is added to the compound after use to keep it fresh in the container. The surfaces are not recommended to be damp when applying monument setting compound. We recommend dampening the surfaces when applying historic pointing mortar, but not compound
