MATTE Swedish Linseed Oil Paint

I tried out the Tuvstarr white and was disappointed that the color isn’t white, it’s a pale beige; and also it brushed out ropey. Unfortunately I bought 5 L of it so I’ll have to use it up in under layer. I love Ottosson brand in general, just not this matte indoor paint. I love using the regular Ottosson linseed paint (which I’ve so far used painted on wood trims and also as wood stain on furniture mixed 50/50 or 30/70 with Ottosson BLO), but for an indoor wall matte paint I much prefer the Allback LINUS paint to this Ottosson matte version. — > The LINUS white is beautiful, color and texture. The Allback LINUS is also wonderful bc the regular Ottosson linseed paint is compatible painted on top of it, so I’ve enjoyed using the LINUS also as a primer on previously-plastic-painted walls (after thoroughly cleaned and then scrubbed w linseed oil soap) for the regular Ottosson. The LINUS has chalk and some glue and shellac in it, similar to old master gesso recipes for preparing grounds for oil paintings (except old used hide glue and Linus uses cellulose glue), so seems to me prob a wonderful bridge surface between acrylic-painted walls becoming now linseed-oil-painted.
