Endurance Restoration Stainless Steel Gravestone Repair Brackets

With repair brackets, any fractured tablet stone can be fixed!

Sizes (Inside) available: 3", 2.75", 2.5", 2.25", 2", 1.75", 1.5"

For in-between sizes, add the Aluminum Repair Bracket INSERTS.

Innovative repair solution for broken and fractured tablet stones. These stainless steel repair brackets will stabilize and splice broken pieces together that don't otherwise fit well or hold a structural bond. Can bridge gaps between pieces and repair tablet stones that would otherwise be unrepairable, or stones difficult to repair with a high likelihood of re-breaking.

These brackets are designed to snugly fit along the edges of square cut tablet stones, which is the most common style of marble tablet. The brackets are pressure fit and it is suggested to use with small contact points of a 2-part epoxy to hold in place. We recommend using an outdoor epoxy or silicone caulk, such as Pratley Quickset White, Standard Setting Putty, or Endurance Epoxy

These brackets are visible and stay on the outside permanently. Can be cut to create custom lengths.

Please note: There is an outer coating on the brackets that will peel off. It is recommended to apply the brackets to the stone and then peel the coating off.

Questions & Answers

Have a Question?

Ask a Question
  • I have a tablet stone with multiple pieces epoxied together, including an adjoining epoxy area that will be buried in the ground (as well as another epoxied area that will be above ground). Should the brackets be placed along the whole height of the tablet including the part that will be buried, or should they only be affixed to the above-ground portion?

The brackets can go underground. You want to make sure they cover the break and weakest point of the stone. No need to worry about keeping them above ground!

  • Does a bracket come with two pieces for one stone repair?

The brackets come individually (1 bracket) or as a pair (2 brackets).

  • What is the depth or length of the sides of a 2 inch bracket? I have lettering starting at 1.5 inches from the side.

The sides of the repair brackets are around / a little less than 3/4"

  • What is the outside width of each of the sizes of your stainless steel repair brackets?

The stainless steel is not that thick but is extremely strong. The outside width will depend on which size you get and there is a slight variance with each size. The most common size is 2 inches. Absolute max on a 2" bracket is 2-1/8", however it would be extremely difficult to put on a stone so under practical applications 2-1/16" would be the widest recommended..

We also now have Repair Bracket INSERTS (fill strips) in 1/16" and 1/8" to compensate for any variation. To simply answer your question. the outside with is about 1/8" more than inside at maximum.

  • I'm looking to use this on a 2inch an 5/8 thick stone. Would it be better to go with 2.5 or 2.75 brace?

We just listed the Repair Bracket INSERTS which you can use for in-between sizing. We recommend going with the 2.75" bracket and adding a 1/8" insert in each bracket (if you're using two). We recommend putting the INSERT on the back side of the bracket, however either the front OR the back will work.

  • when will brackets be back in stock?

We expect to receive a restock of the repair brackets along with various additional size options very soon!

  • What are the dimensions of the wrap-around 90 lip on each side of the brackets?

    The lip is 3/4"
