Akemi Marble Rust Remover (500ml, 1 Liter, 5 Liter)

For the removal of superficial rust stains produced by ferrous substances or objects (fertilizers, tools, iron parts etc.) on natural and artificial stone or concrete ashlar being sensitive to solvents.
Ideal for marble or lime stone surfaces already laid or ready to be laid. Can be applied punctually on stone surfaces because no changes appear.

  • Could you use this on headstones

    Yes, if the stone is marble.

  • Would this product be the best for removing soap scum and hard water deposits from slate ?

    Hello! We now offer a product called CleanStone, great for removing hardwater staining. We also have a CleanStone Kit that comes with the Sparks Brick & Tile Cleaner.

  • Does it remove iron stains that have penetrated deeply? Or is it only for the surface?

    This depends on the severity of the stain and, as you mentioned, how deep it has set in. The product states for 'superficial' staining. We also have a spot remover that works well to remove stains from marble, granite, limestone, slate, etc.

  • Is this safe for use in historic (1800s) marble stones?

    Yes! We always recommend applying a new product to the surface in a small inconspicuous area before full application
